PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device and an image forming method by which the occurrence of an image omission can be prevented in image formation on both sides of a transfer material. CONSTITUTION:In the part corresponding to a transfer device 15, paper P is caused to adhere to the surface of a photosensitive drum 12, and a toner image on the photosensitive drum 12 is transferred to the paper by the action of a transfer voltage applied by the transfer device 15. Control is exerted so that the value of the transfer voltage first applied by the transfer device 15 in the image formation on one side of the paper P differs from that in the image formation on the other side of the paper P. |
