CONFIGURATION CONTROL CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To obtain a configuration control circuit capable of optionally defining an initial operation mode, changing the operation mode at optional timing and allowed to be used also as an initial operation setting circuit and an operation mode setting register. CONSTITUTION:At the time of turning on a power supply for a device, this configuration control circuit 2 outputs mode setting data 5 and sets up the operation mode of a logical circuit 6 in an LSI 1. Since the control circuit 2 can change the operation mode by software after starting the device, the circuit 2 changes the operation mode of the circuit 6 by a register writing command 12 outputted from a register writing command generating circuit 11 by signals outputted from a CPU 7 to a data bus 8 and an address bus 9 and a status signal 10. Namely the control circuit 2 is functioned also as a register for changing the operation mode of the logical circuit 6 by the software.
