PURPOSE:To provide a ventilator which has a ventilating function for feeding the air in a room out of the room and in which noises generated from a motor and a propeller fin can be reduced in/out of the room. CONSTITUTION:An air duct forming plate of a ventilator is formed of long air duct forming plates 6 and short air duct forming plates 7 having different lateral lengths, and sound absorbers 25 are adhered to an air duct surface sides of the plates to reduce sounds in the duct. Further, a phase difference is generated in noises passed through the plates 6 and 7 to interfere to reduce the noises, thereby effectively reducing the noises in a wide frequency range. Accordingly, a ventilator formed of the plates 6 and 7 can form, in addition to its original ventilating function for feeding contaminated air in a room out of the room, a space in a comfortable room in which the noise from the ventilator is further reduced and a space out of the room. |
