PURPOSE:To realize an inexpensive and compact moving position detector in which the number of parts can be decreased, a highly precise working technique and adjustment at the time of assembly can be unnecessitated, and the shape of a traveling object can not be limited. CONSTITUTION:A notched part C of a prescribed length having edges A and B as parts to be detected at one part of a rotary board R being the traveling object is formed along the moving direction of the rotary board R, and sensors S1 and S2 are provided for the notched part C. Then, when the traveling object is arranged at a reference position, the sensor S1 is arranged at a position where the edge A is detected, and the sensor S2 is arranged at a prescribed position based on the setting of a rotation limiting position to P and W directions in the section of the notched part. Thus, at least the reference position of the traveling object, limit position, and deflecting direction from the reference position can be used as the detection information. |
