PURPOSE: To obtain a pivot joint easy in rising and difficult in twisting by adopting two connecting means, arranged in both the sides of the inner and outer walls of a joint main body, as a projection, and at least one pair as a truncated cone shape. CONSTITUTION: A pivot joint is composed of a grooval shape joint main body 7, and has two pairs of connecting parts 9 and 11 arranged in nearly one straight line. A first and second connection parts 9 and 11 pivotally mount second and main yokes 5 and 3 respectively, and are together composed of projection members arranged in one straight line. The connection part 9 is a projection member 15 extending inward from the inner side wall of the groove of the main body 7, and the connection part 11 is constituted of a pair of projections 19 extending outward from the outer side wall of the groove of the main body 7. The projection 15 of the connection part 9 and the paired projections 19 have nearly a columnar and a truncated cone shapes respectively. The yokes 5 and 3 are respectively equipped with a circular hole 23 penetrated by the projection 15 in the yoke 5, and a truncated cone recess 25 paired with the projection 19 is provided in the yoke 3. |
