PURPOSE:To improve operability and to prevent mixture with copying before interruption by enabling copying in a sorting mode after the interruption according to a condition even when sorting is selected before the interruption. CONSTITUTION:A sorting mode permission decision means 24 decides that the sorting mode can be selected and displays it on a sorting permission display means 16 when the sum of the number of copies before the interruption and the number of copies after the interruption is equal to or under the number of sorter bins of a sorter mechanism 50 based on the number of copies in the sorting mode selected before the interruption and stored in an interruption state storage means 23, and the number of copies set in the sorting mode in the case of the interruption and stored in a storage means 21. At the same time, the means 24 transmits designation to a sorter control part 40, so that the mechanism 50 is controlled to move the bin to the position of the sorter bin which is not used before the interruption. Therefore, copying operation in the sorting mode is performed. |
