PURPOSE:To improve the magnetic repulsing force of a permanent magnet by forming the surface of the permanent magnet facing a superconducting bulk material in a complicated shape so that magnetic lines of force can be congested. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting magnetic levitation mechanism is composed of a permanent magnet 4 having a plurality of holes 2 or grooves 2 on its surface facing a superconducting bulk material 3. Or, the permanent magnet 4 is constituted by arranging a plurality of permanent magnet pieces 8 at intervals on the surface facing the bulk material 3. A vibration eliminating device utilizes this mechanism. Since the mechanism is improved in magnetic repulsing force, magnetic levitation supporting stability, and vibration damping characteristics, the vibration eliminating mechanism which supports an object by floating the object by means of the magnetic levitation mechanism and absorbs mechanical shocks and vibrations in a non-contacting state has a large levitation force and can support a heavier object. Thus the object supporting stability and vibration damping characteristics of the vibration eliminating mechanism can be improved. |
