PURPOSE:To provide an image carrier for an electrophotographic photoreceptor, capable of preventing a flange from being afloat, when an open section support member is coupled and bonded to a cylindrical hollow member under pressure, and ensuring high concentricity in a short time, when both members are coupled and bonded to each other without pressure, by using an adhesive having two kinds of specific function. CONSTITUTION:Tubing and pneumatic dispensers are prepared. Then, single liquid type mastic bonding agent 2 as an adhesive having elasticity after complete setting is contained in the tubing dispenser, while an instant adhesive 3 as an adhesive having quick setting function is contained in the pneumatic dispenser. Then, while a drum 1 is kept rotating, the adhesive 2 is peripherally applied along the end of the internal surface of the drum 1 with four uncoated sections left. Thereafter, the instant adhesive 3 is applied just like being dropped to the uncoated sections under the regulation of a pneumatic pressure operation time for the pneumatic dispenser. Then, immediately after the application of the adhesive 3, flanges are press fitted to both open ends of the drum 1 for coupling and bonding. |
