PURPOSE: To obtain a uniform image that does not have belt-like surface irregularity by controlling a parameter of detailed gain and offset of each A/D converter through the control signal of detailed gain and offset of an image signal. CONSTITUTION: Each channel signal is digitized by high speed A/D converters(ADC) 18/1 to 18/64 and stored in fast solid-state storage video frame store 22(VFS)/1 to 22/64 after it is amplified by video amplifiers 20/1 to 20/64. These video data are shown on a monitor 30. A sensor electronic circuit 16 controls the VFS 22/1 to 22/64. Each of channel gain and offset goes through a serial I/O loop 34 and is changed by control data from a host computer 24. The computer 24 decides an offset value and a gain value that should be added to each channel in calibration processing.
