PURPOSE:To provide a three-dimensional optoelectronic integrated element which can simultaneously transmit signals from one layer to layers above and below the layer and can execute large-scale parallel information processing at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:In the integrated element, at least two or more optoelectronic integrated circuit layers are integrated, with each optoelectronic integrated circuit being provided with an optoelectronic circuit 3i for arithmetic operation and memories, light emitting element 1i which outputs optical signals in the direction perpendicular to a plane, and light receiving element which receives optical signals from the direction perpendicular to the plane in the plane. The light receiving elements 2ji, 2(i+)i, 2 (i-1)i, and 21i of other layers which receive the light output of the light emitting element 1i of one layer are made smaller in size than the light emitting element 1i and arranged so that their light receiving areas do not overlap each other even partially in the top view. |
