PURPOSE:To automatically eject a defective printing plate in the midst of carrying in an automatic printing plate processor by which a series of processes that printing processing is executed on the printing plate by a fully automatic photocomposer, the printing plate is developed, the picture and pattern area ratio thereof is measured and the final printing plate usable for printing is finished is automatized. CONSTITUTION:In the automatic printing plate processor, the printing plates 5A and 5B on which the printing processing is executed by the fully automatic photocomposers 112A and 112B are placed on a printing plate carrying means 113, carried in a direction shown by an arrow C and processed to the final printing plates through a picture and pattern area ratio measuring means 62. When the defective printing plate is ejected, the defective printing plate is discriminated by actuating the switch 140 of a position where the defective printing plate is placed and ejected by printing plate ejection means 46 and 61. |
