PURPOSE:To provide the IC which can suppress the complexity of the constitution of hardware and a rise in the chip cost by making it relatively difficult to decide a specific address of a memory where wrong data begin to be outputted when an illegal read of the contents of the semiconductor memory is tried and preventing the contents of the memory from being destroyed even if a regular user accesses the specific address by mistake. CONSTITUTION:This circuit is equipped with a specific address detecting circuit 15 which detects an address signal, specifying the address of the semiconductor memory, specifying the specific address of the semiconductor memory, a latch circuit 16 which latches the detection output of the specific address detecting circuit, and a substituting circuit 17 which substitutes read data of the semiconductor memory for at least one bit of the address signal on the basis of the latch output of the latch circuit. |
