摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the human-machine interface at the time of maintenance and operation and reduce maintenance activities by automatically demarcating a fault without the intervention of a maintenance engineer if the fault occurs to a communication system. CONSTITUTION:Once the fault is detected in on-line mode at an FB(function block) 4, it is reported to a CPU 1 by interruption and after fault processihg and system constitution processing, a suspicious FB is extracted. Assuming that the fault place is an information receiving driver 16 from the FB 4, FBs 1-4 forming the transfer route of this information are decided as a fault suspicious range. For the purpose, a CPU 1 demarcating the FBs. In-FB tests are conducted in the respective FBs at the same time. The CPU 1 starts the in-FB1 test for the FB1 and also starts the in-FB tests successively for the FB2-FB4 similarly. Consequently, the in-FB tests are conducted in the FB1-FB4 almost simultaneously and after the tests end, test results are sent back.
