<p>PURPOSE:To enlarge a picture display area, and to always display a picture attribute on a CRT screen by using the entire screen as the picture display area without providing an attribute display area on the screen, and displaying the picture attribute in the picture display area. CONSTITUTION:A window system in which plural windows can be displayed at an arbitrary position is used, a window as the display place of the picture attribute is overlapped on the picture display area, overwrite is operated by a window function, and a picture attribute display area 63 is provided. For example, on a CRT screen 61, the entire screen except an operation menu display area 62 is used as the picture display area, and the picture attribute display area 63 is provided at the corner. Thus, the part of a display picture 64 which is hidden by the picture attribute display are 63 in the picture display area can be reduced. Therefore, the picture display area can be enlarged, and the picture attribute can be always displayed on the screen.</p> |
