摘要 The invention relates to a method for compensating errors which occur in measuring the flatness of rolling stock in cold-strip mills caused by the introduction of tensile stress into the rolling stock on one side due, in particular, to varying skew positions of a strip reel. The intention is to find a practical solution by means of which compensation of the measurement errors resulting from a dynamic skew position of the strip reel can be performed more simply and more accurately than hitherto. This is achieved by the use of a simplified model for the approximate compensation of the strip reel, this model employing the equation <IMAGE> to form compensation signals k which are impressed upon the individual measured values with difference formation, the model, which is initially only qualitative, being parametrised by means of measurements. k = compensation signal/wedge component 0B = coil diameter BD = thickness of rolled strip fN = normalisation factor. <IMAGE>
