PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR THE PREPARATION OF CALCIUM CARBONATE

The homogeneous hard calcium carbonate is prepared by: A) preparing slurry of slaked lime of 10-30 wt.% by mixing with water at 20-80 deg.C in a reservoir; B) diluting slurry to 1-20 wt.% by adding water at 10-90 deg.C; C) transporting slurry to single pipeline with pump and injecting carbonate gas into holes of pipe; D) producing hard calcium carbonate in in-line static mixer.
