Extracting device for band-saws having a hood-shaped extracting funnel which is to be arranged above the machine table and is open in its side directed towards the machine table and furthermore is equipped at the lateral edges and at that edge of the opening facing away from the saw blade with brush seals and is open at its frontal edge facing the saw blade. Means for fastening the extracting funnel to the supporting bar for the saw-blade guides of the band-saw are arranged on the extracting funnel.
