Solar motor |
摘要 |
In order to use solar energy, so-called solar motors, inter alia, were developed in which use was made of a heat engine working in accordance with the STIRLING reciprocating piston principle and mounted at the focal point of a spherical concave mirror (collector mirror). Despite the 42% efficiency of the Stirling motor, the system achieved only a total efficiency of approximately 17%, principally because of the heat losses at the receiver and the relatively slight concentrator efficiency (system from Schlaich & Partner). The present invention uses a heat engine invented by the applicant which owing to its relatively simple mode of operation can be built in a very elongated fashion without a high outlay on cost, with the result that by comparison with previous solar motors the receiver surface is relatively large owing to the use of a spherical concave mirror (higher concentrator efficiency than in the case of the concave mirror), and so a better total efficiency can be achieved. In the case of the use of high-temperature waste heat from exhaust gases or the like for the purpose of heating the receiver of the heat engine, this invention likewise provides a larger receiver surface.
