Egg products, suitable for reassembly into low-cholesterol uncooked eggs, from which such egg dishes as fried egg can be prepared, are based on processed egg yolk surrounded by a thin edible membrane formed outside the organism of the bird. The processed egg yolks may be in a frozen state. The processed yolk product may be encased in a body of egg albumen or egg white. |
