<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of organic chlorine compounds in exhaust gas eminently by quenching exhaust gas down to 250 deg.C or less while the exhaust gas comes from a refuse incinerator outlet to a dust collector. CONSTITUTION:After being cooled down to 250 deg.C or less at a gas cooling tower, the exhaust gas from a refuse incineration oven in transferred to a dust collector to remove dust. The cooling speed to quench exhaust gas is preferably 30-100 deg.C/sec. As for the cooling tower, the water spraying method, the heat exchanging method or the like can be applied. For the dust-collector, an electrostatic precipitator and any of gravitional, wet, filtering type or the like can be utilized. As the exhaust gas passes quickly through the temperature area of 300-400 deg.C where organic chlorine are likely to be generated in the cooling tower, the quantity of organic chlorine in exhaust gas can be reduced eminently.</p> |
