PURPOSE:To provide stable sealing in axial direction by obtaining the external force, which is to hold the airtightness at the contact surfaces between a scroll mirror plate and scroll's lap end, from gas or oil pressures at two different pressure levels. CONSTITUTION:The intermediate gas pressure in the course of compression stroke is introduced to No.1 back pressure chamber 30, and a force for separation from a stationary scroll 10 and an external force acting oppositely are impressed to the back pressure of a swirling scroll 11. Further oil pressure is introduced to No.2 back pressure chamber 31, and a force for separation from said stationary scroll 10 and an external force acting oppositely are impressed to the back of the swirling scroll 11. Application of external forces in these two systems will hold surely the airtightness at the contact surfaces 18 between a mirror plate 12 of stationary scroll 10 and the end of a lap 15 of the swirling scroll 11 and, also, the contact surfaces between a mirror plate 13 of swirling scroll 11 and the end of lap 14 of the stationary scroll 10. |
