PURPOSE:To obtain the simple color image forming method by incorporating a photosensitive silver halide emulsion, a specific compd. capable of affording a coloring matter and a salt which is difficult to soluble to water and is composed of a polyvalent metallic ion and a specific strong basic ion to a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The photographic element contains at least photosensitive silver halide emulsion, the compd. shown by the formula, and the salt which is difficult to soluble to water and is composed of the polyvalent metallic ion and the strong basic ion having pKb<=5 on the substrate, and is combined with a complexing agent capable of reacting with a metallic ion. The prescribed photographic element is processed in the presence of water. The used salt is exemplified by a double salt which has <=0.5 solubility in water and is composed of a carbonate or phosphate and a basic salts. The solubility is an amount (g) of a substance which is soluble to 100g water. To incorporating the salt which is difficult to soluble to water and the complex agent to the photographic element, the salt is preferably contained to the photosensitive material, and the complex agent is preferably contained to an image receiving material respectively. The used amount of the prescribed salt and the complex agent is 0.01-40wt% per the weight basis of each coating films. |
