摘要 PURPOSE:To improve a discharge retaining time and life characteristics by using an electrode plate specified respectively by a volume per the unit active substance of a hole having a desired fine pore diameter, the porosity of the whole active substance and the X ray diffraction peak ratio of alpha-PbO2 and beta-PbO2. CONSTITUTION:After being filled with paste, a lattice is first impregnated in a peroxo ammonium disulfate solution to form alpha-PbO2 on the surface of an electrode plate, and then impregnated in H2SO4 to transform unreacted PbO into PbSO4, in which aging is performed in the condition of remaining metallic Pb to form mono basic lead sulfate. An electrode plate is obtained by the battery jar preparation or ordinal preparation of the unprepared electrode produced in the above way. The electrode fabricated in this way is specified so that a volume, per the unit active substance, of a hole having the fine pore diameter of 0.5 to 2 micron m, is 0.03cc/gr, or more and the porosity of the whole active substance is 60%, or more and the X ray diffraction peak ratio of alpha-PbO2 to beta-PbO2 is 0.2<=alpha/beta<=0.5.
