A herbicidal composition comprising, as active ingredients, 2',3'-dichloro-4-ethoxymethoxybenzanilide (compound 1) and one member selected from the group consisting of 2-chloro-4-ethylamino-6-isopropylamino-1,3,5-triazine (compound 2), 2-(4-chloro-6-ethylamino-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)amino-2-methylpropiononitrile (compound 3), 4-hydroxy-3,5-diiodobenzonitrile (compound 4), 4-octanoyloxy-3,5-dibromobenzonitrile (compound 5), 2-(2-chloro-4-mesylbenzoyl)cyclohexane-1,3-dione (compound 6) and 4-amino-6-tert-butyl-3-methylthio-1,2,4-triazine-5(4H)-one (compound 7).
