PURPOSE:To secure specific feed amount, by providing a means for detecting the remaining amount of web wound around a payoff shaft for the web and further providing a means for adjusting the feed length of the web according to the remaining amount of the web. CONSTITUTION:Once copying operation starts, a web motor 24 is put in operation corresponding to the copying operation to drive the web take-up shaft 6 for a specific time, winding the web 1 around the take-up shaft 6. The number of revolution of the take-up motor 24 is nearly constant, so a microcomputer calculates the take-up diameter of the web 1 from the total power-on time from the clearing point of a memory for the total rotation time of the web motor 24. As the take-up diameter of the web 1 increases more and more, the power- up time of the take-up motor 24 for the web 1 is made shorter and shorter gradually to wind the web by a specific amount necessary for cleaning. |
