发明名称 METHOD OF CLEANING GAS COOLER OF VACUUM DEGASSING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide the subject method of blasting an inert gas to a gass cooler in a dust separator of a device for vacuum-degasification of molten steel to carry out pressure restoration of the degasification device and cleaning of dusts aggregated and piled, thereby to stabilize the degree of vacuum of the device and maintain highly the degasification effect of molten steel. CONSTITUTION:A dust separator 4 is disposed in a space between an evacuation system 6 and a vacuum degasication tank 2, and a gas cooler 5 is installed at the inlet side of said dust separator 4. Mn and the like in the molten steel, which are easily evaporated are evaporated during the vacuum degasification treatment, and are aggregated and attached to the gas cooler 5. Accordingly, while the pressure within the dust separator 4 due to the exhausting system 6 is indicated in a vacuum degree gage 7, the pressure within the degasification tank 2 has a value greater than the above described pressure because of metal dusts adhering to the cooler 5, and therefore the degasification effect is not accomplished. Upon this occasion, an inert gas is blasted through the nozzle 10 on the front surface of the cooler 5 thereby to remove the adhered metal dusts and the pressure is restored. In the subsequent operation, the pressure within the degasification tank 2 becomes low similarly as the pressure within the separator 4, and the degasification treatment of molten steel is carried out with high efficiency.
