PURPOSE:To provide a paper sheet handling device which can sense slipping-off of an object to be continuously transported instantly and with identification of the place of slipping-off. CONSTITUTION:If there are two sorts of numbers 601, 602 as shown in (a) and sheet to be originally transported in such a sequence as shown in (b) are in the transport sequence at the time of sensor 108 as shown in (c) because of slipping-off, on the way, of the n+1th object to be read, slipping-off of such object can be sensed at the time the n+4th object to be read comes up to the sensor 108. |
