PURPOSE:To substantially reduce manhours required for replacing operation of lapping tapes, and stabilize the shape of slant faces of magnetic heads. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head grinding device is provided with a lapping tape holding bed for holding a lapping tape 1 on the flat surface, a lapping tape feeding means for feeding the lapping tape 1 to the lapping tape holding bed a rotating means for rotating the lapping tape holding bed, an oscillating means for oscillating the lapping tape holding bed, and magnetic head supporting means, on the top of each of which a magnetic head 22 is supported, and each of which presses the magnetic head 22 on the lapping tape 1 to rotate it. |
