PURPOSE:To enhance impact resistance of a high-mount stop lamp in the case where a loading article has been rested against a cabin by providing a thin plate fitting member to the corner part where the upper outer surface of the rear vertical wall of the cabin and the outer rear end surface of the roof of the cabin meet, on the inner side of the cover that covers the upper side of a light-emitting body housing part nearly all over the entire surface. CONSTITUTION:A housing 5 and an inner lens 6 constitute a light-emitting body housing part in which a lamp 9 is housed, and the rear surface thereof is covered with a cover 3 and a lens 4 from up-and-down, right-and-left and rear directions. They are fitted to the vehicle body by means of a lamp side bracket 7 and a vehicle body side bracket 8. When a loading article C strikes from above against a stop lamp SL that has been provided at the corner part where the rear end of a roof 1c and the vertical wall part 1b meet, the bracket 7 covers and protects the housing 5 and the inner lens 6. When the load is large, the vehicle body side bracket 8 is plastically deformed, and the lower end of the outer circumferential wall 4a of the lens 4 approaches a weather strip 18 while deforming an end rubber 19, thus the deformation and failure of the lens 4 can be prevented. |
