PURPOSE:To provide a physical distribution information system which can be established at a low equipment cost, which requires very simple operation and maintenance costs, and which can easily perform exchange of the physical distribution information with a personal computer communications network. CONSTITUTION:A physical distribution information system is configured with a plurality of pocket bells 21, 31-1, 31-2,...31-n. In case where the same calling number is set, where a plurality of pocket bells 21, 31-1, 31-2,...31-n capable of displaying the numerical information of a plurality of figures are arranged dispersedly in a plurality of places, and where the specified physical distribution information is to be transmitted to a plurality of places, the encoded numerical information corresponding to the specified physical distribution information is transmitted in a batch simultaneously. The encoded numerical information displayed on the display of at least one 21 of the pocket bells is read automatically, and the physical distribution information corresponding to this encoded numerical information is automatically transmitted to the electronic bulletin board of a personal computer communications network 40. |
