PURPOSE:To perform good water treatment by sufficiently developing the effects of both of an ultraviolet irradiation device and an ozone reactor. CONSTITUTION:An ozone blowing diffusion pipe 11 is provided to the lower part of an ozone reaction tank 1 being a stainless steel tank or cylinder 10 and a water sending pipe 12 is provided to the upper part of the tank 1 while a drain pipe 13 is provided to the lower part thereof. Treated water flows from the upper part of the tank 1 to the lower part thereof to be opposed to ozone and ozone is efficiently dissolved in the treated water. Ozone dissolved in the treated water oxidizes and decomposes org. matter in water and, thereafter, the treated water is discharged from the drain pipe 13 to be supplied to an ultraviolet irradiation device 2 being an external illumination type flowing water type sterilizing device having a water passing pipe 21 provided to the central part thereof. The drain pipe 13 from the ozone reaction tank 1 is connected to the lower part of the water passing pipe 21 and an outlet pipe 22 taking out treated water is connected to the upper part thereof and a plurality of ultraviolet lamps 23 are provided to the outer periphery of the water passing pipe 21. |
