PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical compsn. in suspension contg. coated fine particles obtd. by coating respective naproxen-contg. cores with specified four coatings and a vehicle, capable of ensuring a therapeutically effective level of naproxen in blood when it is orally administered once per one day and less liable to cause adverse drug reaction. CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical compsn. contains many coated fine particles and a vehicle fit to administer the particles in the form of a suspension. The particles are obtd. by successively coating each of fine core particles of 50-500μm size contg. naproxen as an active component and an excipient with a polyethylene glycol-contg. coating, a hydrophilic coating, a lipophilic coating and an enteric coating contg. cellulose acetate phthalate. The 1st coating material consists preferably of ethylcellulose, diethyl phthalate and polyethylene glycol. The 2nd coating is made preferably of a methacrylic acid copolymer, etc. The 3rd coating is made preferably of a fat material such as wax.
