PRODUCTION OF FINE URETHANE-CROSSLINKED PARTICLE

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an excellent method for efficiently producing optionally colored fine urethane-crosslinked particles having a mean particle size of 5mum or lower and a narrow particle-size distribution and useful for various applications including coating materials and printing inks. CONSTITUTION:Optionally colored fine urethane-crosslinked particles having a mean particle size of 5mum or lower and a shape parameter of Weibull distribution of 1.5 or higher are obtd. by causing a mixture of a urethane component with a dispersion medium to collide at a high speed under pressure with a plane section in a flow passage or causing collision between the mixture itself at a high speed under pressure in the flow passage to disperse the mixture and then forming crosslinked particles by curing reaction.
