PURPOSE:To shrink a silicone shrinkable tube at low temp. such as room temp. without heating the tube. CONSTITUTION:After a silicone shrinkable tube is applied to an object to be covered, the shrinkable tube is shrunk by reacting a shrinking liquid, for example, ether, olein, paraffin or a mixture of them having a solubility index value (SP value) near to that of the shrinkable tube with the shrinkable tube. By this method, the silicone shrinkable tube can be shrunk at room temp. without using heat. |
