PURPOSE: To obtain the titled leaf tea which is excellent in a long keeping quality, a taste and pharmacodynamic effect and useful for a calculus solubilizer, etc., by steaming the raw leaves of Quercus Salicina with steam, drying them, coating them with mucilage included in train, and drying them. CONSTITUTION: Soon after collecting the raw leaves of Quercus Salicina, they are steamed with steam until their color turns to light brown to smell aromatic and they are dried. Further, 5 to 10% grain such as glutinous rice and 90 to 95% water by bulk density are put in the container, a board with holes are placed on the container, and the dried leaves are laid on the board. After then, the container is heated to coat the leaves with the mucilage included in the grain, which rises with steam and to dry them to obtain the desired leaf tea. |
