The dynamic tracking apparatus and system using an error flag signal perform a normal tracking by controlling so as the error flag signal to occur less than a reference value, by correcting a head position. In a reproducing system of a digital video tape recoder, the apparatus includes a signal reproducer, a synchronizing detector, a first error correcting decoder, a deshefling part, a second error correcting decoder, a multiplexer, a system controller, a head position driver, a data interpolator, a video signal switch, and a digital/analog signal converter.
