The LCD improves a brightness characteristics of display unit,and reduces a minimization pattern of TFT (Thin Film Transistor). The LCD display unit includes the pixel electrode which is constantly placed on a isulated board, a thin film transistror which drives the pixel electrode, a metal wiring which has the gate and source wiring. The LCD unit includes a transparent insulation board (31), a pixel electrode (32). The TFT includes a gate electrode (34), a gate insulation layer (35), a semiconductor layer (36), a source elctrode (37), a drain electrode (37). The gate (34), the source (35), and a drain electrode (38) have conduction materials; Al, Cr, W and Ta. BPSG (Boro-Phospho-Silicate Glass), PSG (Phospho-Silicate-Glass), and USG(Undoped-Silicate Glass) are placed on the TFT and insulation board (31). An optic protection layer(40) is formed on the protected layer of the semiconductor layer (36).
