The vacant sleeve drop device for an IC marking machine, installed between a supplying part and an outgoing part of the IC marking machine, is structured that the vacant sleeve is dropped to the outgoing part in an alignment state. The device includes a stopper for stopping the vacant sleeve transferred from the supplying part and releasing from the stopping state; an upper and a lower plates for holding the stopped vacant sleeve; a spring installed between the upper plate and the lower plate and making them adhere closely; a driver for rotating the upper and lower plates and outgoing the holding vacant sleeve to the outgoing part; and a controlling rod for making the upper and lower plates widen in a gap.
