Transformer-monitoring equipment, which comprises a series of sensors, located at strategic points of the machine, which measure parameters such as: the temperature at diverse points of the machine, the gases dissolved in the oil, oil humidity, and partial discharges which occur in the machine; it also comprises a central processing unit, which has as input the magnitudes provided by the said sensors, appropriately digitalised, which same determines and calculates the loss of mean life arising from thermal degradation of the transformer, due to a condition of unrestrained failure, or to a sudden abnormal condition in any of its components. <IMAGE>
