PURPOSE:To provide the automatic processing device for printing plates capable of executing processing even if the defective printing plate is drawn out during transportation by automating a series of stages from printing processing on the printing plates by fully automatic composers, developing of the printing plates, and measuring of pattern area rate, up to finishing of the final printing plates usable for printing. CONSTITUTION:The printing plates subjected to the printing processing by the fully automatic composers 112A, 112B of this automatic processing device for the printing plates are placed on a printing plate transporting means 113, are transported in an arrow C direction and are processed to the final printing plates by passing a developing device 60 and a pattern area rate measuring means 62. Removing switches 140A to 140H in the position where the defective printing plate is placed are actuated in the case of drawing out of the defective printing plate, by which the drawn out printing plate is identified and the corresponding information thereof is deleted. |
