PURPOSE:To presume an exact fault cause in a level close to a fault diagnostic level in a state that entire symptoms related with an abnormality are not mist even when the entire symptoms related with the abnormality are mist. CONSTITUTION:An example storage part 1 stores past examples including the example of the symptom related with the fault of an equipment, and a symptom designation supporting part 3 inputs the symptom indicating the fault. A same symptom example retrieving part 4 retrieves the past example having the same symptom as the inputted symptom from among the past examples stored in the example storage part 1. When it can not be detected, a relaxation symptom retrieving part 5 retrieves the past example having the inputted symptom as one part of the symptom from among the past examples stored in the example storage part 1, and a partial symptom retrieving part 6 retrieves the past example having one part of the inputted symptom as the entire symptom from among the past examples. |
