RETRIEVING/DISPLAYING METHOD FOR BOOK INFORMATION

PURPOSE:To allow a user to obtain necessary book information from any device in a system to which plural devices retrieving and displaying book information are connected by network. CONSTITUTION:A book information retrieval discrimination control part 104 investigates whether book information corresponding to retrieving data 102b is stored in a book information storing part 103 or not and when it is not stored, retrieving data 102b is transmitted to a device Y storing the pertinent book information by way of a retrieving data transmission parta 105. In the device Y, a retrieving data reception part 106 receives retrieving data 102b and a book information transmission part 108 transmits the pertinent book information stored in a book information storing part 107 to a device X. In the device X, a book information reception part 109 receives transmitted book information and sends it to a book information synthesizing part 110.
