<p>PURPOSE:To provide a synchronization protective circuit for preventing the degradation of reproducing signals when synchronizing signals are generated in an interval shorter than a prescribed interval. CONSTITUTION:Received or transmitted data are inputted from a data input terminal 7 to a synchronization detection circuit 2, and the synchronization detection circuit 2 detects a synchronization pattern in the data, lets a timing follow it up and inputs the synchronizing signals to the synchronization protective circuit 1. The synchronizing signals are inputted to a pseudo synchronizing signal generation circuit 3 and pseudo synchronizing signals are outputted while the synchronization detection circuit 2 generates a synchronization error. A counter 4 inputs the synchronizing signals and the pseudo synchronizing signals, counts the interval of the synchronizing signals and inputs the result to a judging circuit 5. In the case of being shorter than the prescribed interval N, the judging circuit 5 outputs control signals to a selector 6 so as not to output one of the synchronizing signals and the pseudo synchronizing signals as the synchronizing signals.</p> |
