PURPOSE:To easily accumulate picture data simultaneously with the diagnosis of a patient by shortening time required for accumulating the picture data as attaching patient intrinsic information and a diagnostic report to it. CONSTITUTION:This medical picture filing system is constituted so as to be provided with a diagnostic data base part 21 which holds data required for the diagnosis, a pointing device 17 which designates an arbitrary area on a display picture and obtains the position information, a candidate data selecting part 18 which selects diagnostic data corresponding to the position of the arbitrary area as candidate data from a diagnostic data base part, a display control part 19 which displays the candidate data as superimposing it to a picture being displayed, and a recording part 20 which records the candidate data after selection to a recorder 7 together with the diagnostic position information, the picture data and the patient intrinsic information, etc., when the candidate data is selected on a display screen by the pointing device. |
