PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation of image quality by stabilizine the potential of a photosensitive body in the image of a paper sheet, even if a long-sized image is outputted or the length of the image on a paper sheet is longer than the outer periphery of the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:For keeping the surface potential of the photosensitive body 1 electrified by a charge corotron 2 constant, even during image formation on a paper sheet, a voltage applied to the charge corotron 2 from a high-voltage power source 10 is increased in accordance with the lapse of time, so as to compensate tone drop of the surface potential of the photosensitive body 1, even during the image formation on the paper sheet. |
