PURPOSE:To enable a suction nozzle to suck an air-core coil keeping it in a horizontal position and surface-mount it on the surface of a board. CONSTITUTION:When an air-core coil 1 wherein both the ends of a coil turn section 2 extend horizontally to serve as terminals is surface-mounted on the surface of a board, the coil turn section 2 of the air-core coil 1 is sucked by a notch 21 of a suction nozzle 20, the terminal of the air-core coil 1 is made to bear against a reference surface 30 to correct the air-core coil 1 in an angle to the axis of the coil turn section 2, and then the coil 1 is mounted on the board. Furthermore, the axis of the coil turn section 2 of the coil 1 is corrected in direction by control pawls 31 on the board, and then the coil 1 is mounted on the board. |
