PURPOSE:To continuously output reduced images at a high speed without increasing the amount of data required for preserving the reduced images concerning the image processor for encoding images, storing, decoding and reproducing them. CONSTITUTION:At the time of preservation, a storage control part 103 stores the encoded data of lines used for reduced display in a display buffer part 104 among data encoded by an encoding part 102, and stores the data of encoded lines not used for display in a non-display buffer part 105. After encoding/ storage is completed, a store part 106 transfers the data to a code memory part 107 in the order of the display buffer part 104 and the non-display buffer part 105. At the time of reduced display, among the data in the code memory part 107, only the data of lines used for display are decoded by a decoding part 109, reduced in the direction of lines by a line reduction part 110 and transferred to a display part 111. |
