PURPOSE:To allow radiation of high strength ultrasonic wave without applying excessive voltage to a transducer and without limiting the working distance of lens. CONSTITUTION:The acoustic lens comprises a lens rod 11, a transducer 12 for transmitting/receiving ultrasonic wave disposed on the end face of the lens rod 11, and means 17, 18 exhibiting electric and magnetic or electric and optical functions for the lens rod 11 depending on the quality thereof and amplifying ultrasonic wave propagating through the lens rod. |
