Resin compositions including at least one unsaturated polyester, at least one monomer copolymerisable with the unsaturated polyester and an effective quantity of at least one antishrinkage additive for the unsaturated polyester, soluble in the said monomer, miscible with the unsaturated polyester and having a molecular weight of approximately between 1000 and 9000. The said antishrinkage additive is a terpolymer of alkyl methacrylate, of unsaturated monomer bearing at least one hydroxyl functional group and of alpha , beta -ethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acid. Application to the production of moulded articles of fine surface appearance.
