Magnetic holding plate

A magnetic holding plate (1) is proposed which makes a smooth surface possible as a holding surface (2), by means of a special arrangement of permanent magnets (41). In consequence, it is easy to clean. It is thus particularly suitable for use in food fabrication and in the printing industry. The magnetic holding plate (1) has a good adhesion force thanks to suitable material selection and the special type of installation. The type of installation of the permanent magnets (41) reduces their susceptibility to corrosion. These magnetic plates (1, 1') can also be used in a magnetic clutch (magnetic coupling). <IMAGE>
